So how crazy is this most Hip Hop albums you go out and purchase are as valuable as a penny with a hole in it,and this cat 4-ize has released a quality mixtape/album that you can download for free yes I said FREE. Who is 4-ize you ask? He is a talented rapper who has been showcased on the first two Ludacris albums, can be seen performing around the ATL, or putting up his famous red & white stickers all over the city. Which brings me to the title of his latest project "Illuminated Animals" where he proves to you that he is a Beast on the mic! 17 tracks with production from Floyd Da Locsmif and Rasta Root, also featuring vocal appearances from Senor Kaos (thekaoseffect.com) and Punchlyne, and soul singer Anthony David. To download the album go to http://4ize.com/
I'm happy to say that you can leave the skip button alone for this one the first track Classic Example Freestyle gets it started as 4-ize,Senor Kaos, and Punchlyne spit hot bars over a RZA track. And the heat just keeps coming on Rollin like a Gee where you cant help but nod your head to the smooth beat and clever lyrics one of my favorite lines from the entire mixtape is from this track
"She came with a Gee, She danced with a Gee so why would she leave with a You"
He and Senor Kaos explain how they cant leave this Hip Hop thing along on "Hard to Quit the Rhyme "with Anthony David singing the hook. Another standout track is "Ultra Beast" where he and Punchlyne & Number 2 go back and forth with hard hitting lyrics over a well crafted Floyd Da Locsmif beat. On "Vibe Awards" 4-Ize vividly paints the picture of his trip to the first Vibe awards in LA and the storytelling skills are on point because I felt like I was sitting in the audience at the Vibe Awards while listening to this. On the track "Wrong Kid Died" he talks about how Hip Hop is missing some talented performers who have passed away while at the same time we have a number of wack rappers living who are flooding the airwaves with nonsense a very creative song concept.
I am not going to go over all 17 tracks I will let you listen for yourself but trust me it is definitely worth your time, also did I mention that this can be downloaded for free at http://4ize.com/ you can also listen to a interview by Jayforce of the Beatz & Lyrics show where 4-Ize discusses his newest project at http://beatzandlyrics.podomatic.com/
